What if this one time you just… didn’t give up? [chocolate chip cookie talk???]

Hey Reader,

So here I am after a day of eating really well, sitting on the couch winding down with a cup of tea. I'm about to make it through a successful day of eating and working out.

Ricky and Emily are making chocolate chip cookies. (My son and his girlfriend.)

I am unphased. 💪

Then they come out of the oven. You know that smell, I know you do and if you don't well... Do you also not like ice cream? Because you may not be human.

I thought about just one cookie. But then I took a second, because here I am in the middle of really getting results. Is it worth throwing that off?

There will be plenty of other times for cookies, this was not the plan today and I'm doing so well. I mean how many times have I given up for something as simple as cookies.

Not this time. By taking a second to check in with myself, I decided...

What if I just didn't give up this time? I'm already doing great and feeling great, do I want something small to get in the way of my goals. Nope, not this time, not today!

There is only ONE way to get results.
Not giving up!

That’s it.

It’s not about being perfect.
Not about starting over every Monday.
Not about doing everything right.

It’s just… not quitting.

And I want you to really think about something today:
How many times have you given up?

And how many of those times… were you so close to a breakthrough without even knowing it?

Think about the version of you who gave up.
What would be different now if she hadn’t?

That’s not meant to guilt you, I promise, it’s meant to empower you.

Because the truth is, you didn’t “fail.” You just paused.
And you get to press play again right now.

No matter how many times you’ve started over, this can be the time it sticks.

I’ll be here when you’re ready—with workouts that fit your real life, support that actually feels supportive, and a plan that meets you where you are (not where social media says you “should” be).

Hey Reader, I hate the word busy, almost as much as I hate the word try. And we're programmed to use it all the time. Someone invites us to do something and we say we're busy instead of saying no, or I don't want to. We tell ourselves we're busy to avoid many things we need to do. Instead of giving ourselves permission to say no or to recognize what is a priority for ourselves right now and what isn't. Busy is worn like a badge of honor. I know this because it was one of my most used words....

Hey Reader, Have you ever looked at a picture of your younger self and thought, “wow look how great I looked, why was I ever so down on myself.” Maybe you haven’t felt that way. I definitely have. I spent so much time in my life wanting to be fitter, skinnier, more muscle here, less muscle there, whatever. The funny thing is the people around me saw the beautiful girl I didn’t see, because I spent so much time looking at everyone else. I would be lying to you if I said that I don’t still do...

Hey Reader, Silly backpacks, laundry, and an early bedtime. Sounds about right. Today is the last first day of school I will every have with my kids, and I’m on vacation. So I needed to call and check that Dominic was ready. The answer…no. The seniors are all wearing a child's backpack on the first day of school. Which I thought we took care of because we talked about it like two weeks ago. But Dominic doesn't have the child's backpack yet. Then he tells me he still needed to do laundry. Our...
