Hey Reader, The holidays have a way of making the old thoughts louder. So there’s something I want you to remember, especially if you’ve ever said things to yourself like:
Thoughts like these don’t mean anything about you. They pop in, they pass through, and often they lie. They don’t reflect who you are or what you’re capable of. It happens to the most dedicated women I coach — and honestly, it happens to me too. Maybe it’s the social pressure… But here’s what I’ve learned, both personally and professionally: 🌟 You’re allowed to think something unhelpful and not believe it. You’re allowed to say, “Oh hey, there’s that thought again,” and keep going anyway. This is something I remind my members of all the time—especially when they’re starting a new routine, when motivation dips, or when life gets messy. Because those are the moments when the self-talk gets loud. And those are also the moments when change is happening. Not perfection. Growth is uncomfortable. But it’s worth it. This is why so many women get their BEST results during coaching: Because on the days when your brain wants to quit, you don’t quit. So next time your brain starts whispering doubt, remember this: If you want help moving forward—with accountability, structure, and a coach who believes in you (even on the days you don’t)—you’ll work directly with me in my online personal training program. 🎉 Apply today. And by the way… Whether you want workouts for home OR the gym — I create both. A lot of people don’t realize that. 👉 Apply here for Online Personal Training. Let’s end 2025 in momentum — not waiting. Hey Reader, You know this story, and probably lived it. I’ve worked in the industry for a long time and December, comes with the same pattern… Women start talking about “getting serious” in January, like December doesn’t exist. New routine. New planner. New supplements. New rules. And by February? They’re already overwhelmed, exhausted, or back to square one. Not because they're lazy or unmotivated… …but because they never had a plan built for their life. Let me tell you a quick story. The...
Hey Reader, We are really in December! Oh man… I haven’t hit the fitness goals I wanted to and although that could be frustrating I know why and what I need to do. This week I’m finishing up my outdoor bootcamp so I won’t have the added outdoor workout I’ve been doing. This means it’s really important for me to have my own workouts and a plan. And I do. Monday I am starting my holiday workout plan, with grace of course, as it is the holidays and I’m not looking for all or nothing. I’m also...
Hey Reader, This is the time of year when quick fixes feel extra tempting, right? “Shrink before the holiday party.” “Start fresh January.” “Go low-carb until Christmas.” You can’t scroll, shop, or check email without seeing some kind of “fast” solution promising to undo what you ate or speed up what you want. But here’s the part no one talks about enough — especially for women over 40: Your body always pays the price for quick fixes. And the holidays make them even more dangerous because it...
