[Saturday Spark✨] Feeling off? Try this 10-minute fix.

Hey Reader,

Let’s get real—
There are days when the last thing you want to do is work out.
You’re tired, stressed, moody, anxious... and maybe you think you need a full hour to make it “worth it.”

But here's something you might not know:
Just 10 minutes of movement can improve your mood.

Seriously.

Researchers have found that even a single short workout—between 10 and 60 minutes—has a positive effect on your mood.
It doesn't just help in the long term. It helps right now (Crush et al., 2018; Fritz & O’Connor, 2016).

That means you don’t have to “feel like it” to start.
You just have to move.
Let your movement change your mindset.

Go for a walk.
Stretch while your coffee brews.
Do 20 squats while your dinner’s in the oven.
Hit play on a quick workout inside the Body Goddess app if you're already a member. 😉💪

Don’t wait for motivation to magically show up.
Let action create motivation.
Let movement be your mood booster.

You don’t need a perfect plan or a perfect mood—just a few minutes and a willingness to go for it. 💪

And if you want a plan that fits into your life (not one that takes it over), that’s exactly what your online personal training plan will do.
It’s not about doing more—it’s about doing what works.

Hey Reader, So here I am after a day of eating really well, sitting on the couch winding down with a cup of tea. I'm about to make it through a successful day of eating and working out. Ricky and Emily are making chocolate chip cookies. (My son and his girlfriend.) I am unphased. 💪 Then they come out of the oven. You know that smell, I know you do and if you don't well... Do you also not like ice cream? Because you may not be human. I thought about just one cookie. But then I took a second,...

Hey Reader, I hate the word busy, almost as much as I hate the word try. And we're programmed to use it all the time. Someone invites us to do something and we say we're busy instead of saying no, or I don't want to. We tell ourselves we're busy to avoid many things we need to do. Instead of giving ourselves permission to say no or to recognize what is a priority for ourselves right now and what isn't. Busy is worn like a badge of honor. I know this because it was one of my most used words....

Hey Reader, Have you ever looked at a picture of your younger self and thought, “wow look how great I looked, why was I ever so down on myself.” Maybe you haven’t felt that way. I definitely have. I spent so much time in my life wanting to be fitter, skinnier, more muscle here, less muscle there, whatever. The funny thing is the people around me saw the beautiful girl I didn’t see, because I spent so much time looking at everyone else. I would be lying to you if I said that I don’t still do...
