Hey Reader, You know that feeling when you think you can’t do something… Sometimes it’s a big thing. Sometimes it’s tiny. But those tiny ones? They often mean the most. This morning, for me, it was a plank. But today? I wasn’t feeling it. At all. I figured I’d just do one minute and call it good. I hit start, zoned out a little, and peeked at the timer — 58 seconds. Okay… maybe I have a little more in me. I counted to 100 really fast. Looked again — 1:42. And at that point, I knew… I couldn’t quit at 1:42. Here’s the thing: It wasn’t about the plank. 🤔And it reminded me of something I see all the time in the women I coach: → The workout you didn’t want to do, but did anyway. Those are the moments that shape you. So let me ask you: Really think about it. Hey Reader, I hate the word busy, almost as much as I hate the word try. And we're programmed to use it all the time. Someone invites us to do something and we say we're busy instead of saying no, or I don't want to. We tell ourselves we're busy to avoid many things we need to do. Instead of giving ourselves permission to say no or to recognize what is a priority for ourselves right now and what isn't. Busy is worn like a badge of honor. I know this because it was one of my most used words....
