🦃 Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so grateful for you all and really hope you enjoy today...seriously, eat that pie!

Hi Reader,

Happy Thanksgiving!

I am truly grateful to all of you here with me reading these emails.❤️

I hope that they are helping you along your fitness journey, both learning and staying motivated.

So of course that doesn’t stop today.

Before the day gets busy, before the kitchen fills with noise, before the plates hit the table…
I want to remind you of something important.

💥Today is not a test.

Today is not a setback.
Today is not something to “make up for” tomorrow.

Today is a day of connection, gratitude, tradition, comfort, and joy.

And you get to decide how you want it to feel.

Not diet culture.
Not pressure.
Not guilt.
Not “I’ll start over on Monday.”
Not “I shouldn’t eat that.”

Just you — choosing what matters.

Here’s the truth I want you to hold onto all day long:

You don’t need to earn your food.

You don’t need to justify your choices.
You don’t need to punish yourself tomorrow.

One holiday meal does not undo your progress!!!

One day of celebration will not erase all the work you’ve done.
Your body responds to what you repeatedly do — not what you do occasionally.

And the women who succeed long-term aren’t the ones who white-knuckle their way through Thanksgiving…
They’re the ones who give themselves compassion, return to their routine, and keep moving forward.

So today:

Eat what you love — slowly, intentionally, with zero shame.
Laugh.
Rest.
Be present.
Savor the moments you won’t get back.

Let today be a reminder that your health is not defined by perfection —
it’s defined by the way you care for yourself in the big picture.

And choosing joy?

That is part of health, too.

Sending you so much love today! Happy Thanksgiving, truly. 🧡

Hi Reader, Thanksgiving week is here — which means two things: ✨ Great food✨ And a LOT of pressure Pressure to “be good,” pressure to control yourself, pressure to not undo all your progress…and then pressure to “just enjoy it” because it’s the holidays. No wonder so many women feel stressed before the turkey is even in the oven. Here's a little secret about me...🙄 Every year I plan to use September as my “reset before the holidays.”And honestly? It usually does help… for a while. But life...

Hey Reader, You know that feeling when you think you can’t do something…and then somehow, you do? Sometimes it’s a big thing.Sometimes it’s small. Sometimes it’s tiny. But those tiny ones? They often mean the most. This morning, for me, it was a plank.I usually hold a 2-minute plank during my morning flow. But today? I wasn’t feeling it. At all. I figured I’d just do one minute and call it good. I hit start, zoned out a little, and peeked at the timer — 58 seconds. Okay… maybe I have a little...

Hey Reader, There was this company I worked for in my 20s that sold healthy prepped meals in grocery stores. I was one of their brand ambassadors—offering samples and talking to people about how convenient healthy eating could be. I’ll never forget this one guy. Fit. Muscular. Cart full of junk food. He smirks and says, “I work out so I can eat like this.” Now, we won’t unpack all the layers of that mindset today (or where it might have lead him when he got older), but I do want to touch on...
