My Surprising Energy Hack (it's not coffee!)

Let’s talk energy—real, lasting energy.

I didn’t grow up drinking coffee. In fact, I didn’t start until well into adulthood. Even now, I don’t rely on it to keep me awake. I love the ritual of an afternoon espresso or matcha—something I enjoy around lunchtime, when it feels like a gentle reset—not a necessity.

But here’s what I’ve found gives me the most energy: hydration and simple, balanced meals.

When I prioritize water and making small, consistent changes to how I fuel my body, everything shifts. My energy goes up, my focus sharpens, my skin feels better, and I fell more grounded and steady throughout the day.

Coffee can be a lovely ritual—but relying on it to function? That’s a red flag. Especially when there are easier ways to support your body.

I like to keep things simple with my clients. Teaching the basics of hydration, tools to build balanced meals, and find that energy boost they need—without needing a second (or third) cup of coffee.
